About The Pavement Improvement Project

This year’s $8.022 million dollar project consists of $7,720,000 in Board-approved funding for asphalt road reconstruction and an additional $301,790.00 for concrete gutter and cross gutter replacement. We will perform full-depth reconstruction on 1.4 million square feet of Canyon Lake POA-owned roads. The project will be in 10 phases and is expected to be completed by late spring 2024. We will also seal coat the 1.3 million square feet of roads that were reconstructed last year to ensure their longevity and to effectively apply “sunblock” to them.

The funds for this project come from our well-funded Road Reserve fund, which is separate from our Repair and Replacement Reserve fund.
