Steve Schneider, CCAM®

Steve Schneider, as the Director of Operations at the Canyon Lake POA for over five years, has cultivated a commendable reputation for effectively enhancing the community through numerous successful projects. His responsibilities include overseeing maintenance, renovation, and new construction of amenities, all executed with exceptional efficiency. With a background as a degreed mechanical engineer and a decade of experience in HVAC Construction and Control Systems Engineering, Steve brings a strong understanding of the technical intricacies of project management to his role.

As the leader of one of the Canyon Lake POA's largest departments, Steve's project management skills are second to none, allowing him to oversee a large staff and community projects effectively. His expertise includes developing Request For Proposals (RFPs), contract review and approval, delegating tasks, submittal approval, scheduling, and trade coordination to ensure timely completion, compliance, and quality performance. He has worked on several community projects that have significantly impacted the development and modernization of the Canyon Lake community. A few of his most notable accomplishments in this community are the addition of the new Vacation Park facility, several renovations at Happy Camp to modernize the dated campground, the golf course lake renovation that significantly reduced the amount of water utilized on the course, and several park enhancements from new shade structures at Sierra Park and Indian Beach to a brand-new restroom at Roadrunner Park.

Steve holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering Technology from California State University and is a Certified Community Association Manager (CCAM), demonstrating his commitment to this industry and community. He is a remarkable leader with excellent multi-tasking ability, a highly self-directed approach, and a strong commitment to achieving results. Steve's contributions to the Canyon Lake POA have been invaluable, and his portfolio of impressive projects completed under his leadership is a testament to his skills and expertise.
