Cooling Center at Senior Center

Due to potential power outages during the heat advisory, the CLPOA will staff and open the Senior Center as an emergency cooling center as needed, starting Friday, July 5.

Upcoming Power Outage

Please be advised that on Thursday, June 27, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., members may experience possible delays at the stop light and Main Gate on Canyon Lake Drive due to required electrical maintenance. SCE Inspections

As part of the wildfire prevention and mitigation program, Southern California Edison (SCE) will be conducting inspections in Canyon Lake using drones and/or helicopters over the next few weeks. The focus of these operations is to keep our community safe by inspecting electrical equipment on poles and towers and to identify any damage or potential hazard that may need immediate repair.

Eastport Water Line Repair Update

On Friday, May 31, the restrooms at Eastport Park and water to the drinking fountains at the dog park were turned off for an emergency water line repair. The water lines were repaired on Saturday, June 1. The restrooms and water to the drinking fountains have been turned back on and are available for use.

Eastport Emergency Water Line Repair

Due to an emergency water line repair, the restrooms at Eastport Park will be closed for an indeterminate amount of time starting Friday, May 31. Additionally, water to the drinking fountains at the dog park will be turned off. We apologize for any inconvenience and appreciate your understanding.

Pool Summer Hours Begin Today!

Kick off Fiesta Hopper early by chilling out at the pool! Today, May 24, summer hours go into full effect. Lap Swim is extended from 6 a.m. to 10 a.m., while open swim is extended from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday – Thursday and 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Friday and Saturday. Don't miss out on tonight's pool movie night, starting at dusk!

Lake Testing Update

On May 8, 2024, water samples were collected from Happy Camp, Holiday Harbor, Indian Beach, Sierra Park, and Sunset Beach and were sent for testing. Scheduled Power Outage

A planned power outage will occur on Monday, May 20, from 11 p.m. to 11:30 p.m. All gates (Main, North, and East) may be affected during this time.

Phase 11 Starts Monday, May 20

Phase 11 is scheduled to begin Monday, May 20. The roads in Phase 11 are Longhorn Drive (from Vacation Drive to Big Range Road's north intersection). Gas Dock Temporarily Closed June 10

Please note that the fuel pump at the gas dock at Happy Camp will be temporarily closed today, June 10, between 12 p.m. and 4 p.m. for annual testing on the equipment. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

Quorum Not Met

Unfortunately, quorum was not met today (May 15). 1,162 ballots were returned, and 1,600 were needed to meet quorum. Only 38 ballots are required now to make the reduced quorum of 1,200 on Friday, May 17.
