Get Ready For Fun & Fireworks
Canyon Lake 4th of July Details

The Canyon Lake POA is excited to celebrate America with our traditional spectacular fireworks show on July 4th. Leading up to the show, DJ Mike Shroyer will be playing music from the Lodge pool deck starting at 8 p.m. The pool will close at 7 p.m., and the national anthem will be performed by Tara Miller Abell prior to the firework show. Fireworks are launched from Skipper's Island and start at 9 p.m. Tune into 99.9 FM to hear music synchronized to the fireworks show! The best viewing locations are Happy Camp (no sites available, all sites reserved during the lottery), Holiday Harbor, Sunset Beach, Main Causeway, and on the lake.

The Canyon Lake POA’s Community Patrol and Marine Patrol in collaboration with the Riverside Sheriff’s Office and the City of Canyon Lake, will be enforcing regulations to ensure a safe holiday for everyone. Please note that all Canyon Lake POA violations will result in fines, which are doubled during holiday weekends.

Community Access
Please instruct your guests to use the East and North gates for quicker access.

To accommodate the high volume of traffic anticipated on the 4th of July, we encourage residents to inform their guests to expect delays and use the East and North gates for quicker access. Community Patrol will have extra staff on hand at all three gates to help move the flow of traffic through the gates as quickly as possible. All gates will have additional staff walking the line to assist guests with accessing the community.

  • Main & East Gates: RFID lanes will be open to residents with RFID transponder. The other two lanes at these gates will be open for guests or residents.
  • North Gate: Both lanes at North Gate will be for guests or residents.

Guest Information
Those inviting guests into the community are encouraged to utilize the ePass service. Members can log into their dwellingLIVE account online or through the mobile app and email their guest a pass. Guests can print the pass ahead of time, or the gate attendant can scan the pass on their smart phone. Guests will still need to provide their valid driver’s license along with the ePass. For guests who did not print the pass, the gate attendant will issue a parking pass that will need to displayed on the dashboard during their visit.

It is important to remind your guests that they must have a valid driver’s license in their possession when entering the community. Also, advise your guests to know your address, as this will help the Community Patrol verify their information quicker at the gates.

Service Provider Access
Service providers are not permitted into the community on 4th of July. Examples of service providers include contractors, delivery drivers (like DoorDash or pizza delivery), furniture deliveries, HVAC services, home cleaning services, landscapers/pool services, plumbing services, ride share apps (like Uber or Lyft). Please note, this does not apply to in-home health care services.

If you have a service provider needing access to the community, please add them as a temporary guest for the day.
