Canyon Lake residents and guests will soon enjoy a new first impression through the community's primary main gate entrance. Work will begin in early 2023 to bring new life into the 55-year-old medians on Canyon Lake Drive South. Once complete, there will be new landscaping, trees, and uplighting that accentuate the new design. Additionally, there will be a new left turn lane onto Bluebird Drive creating safer access and new curbing to eliminate the old mailbox turnout before Continental Drive. Work is wrapping up on revamping our 55-year-old medians on Canyon Lake Drive. The newly installed palm trees have been untied and will now go through several rounds of trimming. This trimming process is essential to shape the palm trees into their desired aesthetic form, promoting healthy growth and ensuring that they complement the overall revitalized appearance of the medians.

Work is wrapping up on revamping our 55-year-old medians on Canyon Lake Drive. The palm trees have been planted but require the crowns to be tied up for 12 weeks to help the trees by slowing down their top growth while the roots are healing, making them more stable against strong winds. It also helps reduce water loss through the leaves. The trees will remain tied up for four more weeks to maintain the warranty providing by the tree nursery.

Once this project is complete, the new medians will feature new landscaping, trees, uplighting, and a left turn lane onto Bluebird Drive. Work continues on revamping our 55-year-old medians on Canyon Lake Drive. The palm trees and accent dwarf magnolia trees, which are small versions of the popular magnolia trees are installed. The compact, pyramidal form of dwarf magnolia trees makes them an excellent choice for smaller landscapes or as accents in larger ones. These trees stay green all year round, providing year-round beauty and interest in your landscape. Once this project is complete, the new medians will feature new landscaping, trees, uplighting, and a left turn lane onto Bluebird Drive. Work to bring new life into the 55-year-old medians on Canyon Lake Drive South will begin on Monday, February 6. There will be traffic control and residents are asked to follow traffic controllers directions.
