Cheryl Mitchell is a highly experienced customer service professional and Senior Planning & Compliance Manager at the Canyon Lake POA with over 25 years of experience in the corporate world. With her expertise in training staff, encouraging best practices, and maintaining excellent customer engagement, Cheryl has helped the Canyon Lake POA provide exceptional service to its members for over 15 years.

In her current role as Senior Planning & Compliance Manager at the Canyon Lake POA, Cheryl has a wide range of responsibilities. She oversees the planning and compliance functions of the organization, ensuring that all members adhere to the association’s Rules & Regulations and Covenants, Conditions & Restrictions (CC&Rs). Cheryl plays a vital role in reviewing and approving member applications for home improvements, managing the inspection process, and working with members to answer any questions they may have. She also serves as the staff liaison for the Architectural Control Committee (ACC), where she provides solutions to aid them in their decision-making process.

Cheryl's extensive experience in the corporate world has been critical to her success at the Canyon Lake POA. She previously served as a Training Manager for a traveling inventory team for Wal-Mart Stores and as a District and Area Manager for ConocoPhillips (Circle K Stores). In these roles, Cheryl managed direct reports, improved sales and marketing strategies, and managed profit and loss.

Through her leadership, expertise, and experience, Cheryl has helped the Canyon Lake POA maintain a high level of compliance, efficiency, and exceptional service to its members. Her dedication to her work and commitment to providing the best service possible make her an invaluable member of the Canyon Lake POA team.
