Board Meeting Notice

Join us at our next Regular Session Board Meeting on Tuesday, March 4, at 6 p.m. at the Lodge. Members may attend in person at the Lodge, join virtually through Zoom at vm.clpoa.net, or watch it live on our Facebook page @CanyonLakePOA. The Board Meeting agenda will be posted five days in advance of the meeting. Comments/questions may be emailed to the Board in advance at [email protected].

FREE Adult Tennis Clinics

Starting Sunday, March 2, learn the basics of tennis with Canyon Lake's Head Tennis Pro, Bobby Kielty! These FREE beginner adult clinics are Sundays at 10 a.m. Tennis racquets and balls will be provided. Please wear athletic attire and avoid wearing sandals or jeans. These clinics are a great opportunity to learn more about the sport! Reservations are required and can be made by calling 951.760.1813.

North Ski Launch Ramp Closed for Construction

Please be advised that the North Ski Launch Ramp is closed today, February 27, and Friday, February 28, for construction. We appreciate your patience and understanding.

Free Ski Equipment from the Canyon Lake Ski Club

The Canyon Lake Ski Club is donating used skis and other lake sport equipment to the community. Anyone interested in any of this FREE equipment is welcome to pick what they want at the Community Patrol Office at Blue Bird Hall.

Bingo!

Grab your daubers and get ready to shout "Bingo!" on Sunday, March 2, at the Senior Center. The buy-in is $13 for a 10-pack of bingo sheets, and two special games are available for $1 each. There is a Hot Ball opportunity, and buy-in is only $1! Doors open at 12 p.m., and calling starts at 1 p.m. sharp, so get there before the doors close. Everyone 18 or older is welcome!

Every 1st and 3rd Sunday of the month, the Lions Club hosts a bingo fundraiser event at the Senior Center.

Lucky Siren's Casino Night

Are you feeling lucky, Canyon Lake? Bring that luck to Lucky Siren's Casino Night on Saturday, March 8, hosted by the Mermaids of Canyon Lake at 5 p.m. at the Senior Center. Hope Lights the Night

Join the Mermaids of Canyon Lake and Michelle's Place for Hope Lights the Night, a luminary event on Sunday, March 9, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Holiday Harbor Park. This event is a free, family-friendly occasion that celebrates life and honors and remembers those who have been impacted by cancer. An RSVP is required to attend.

Holey Shillelagh Scholarship Golf Tournament

Earn yourself a pot of gold at the Holey Shillelagh Scholarship Golf Tournament on Saturday, March 15! Join the Canyon Lake 9ers Golf Club for 18 holes of par 3 and par 4 golf fun, shenanigans, raffles, and silent auction items — including a chance to win a golf cart! All players are welcome at this fundraising event for students in our community. Check-in is at 8 a.m., with a putting contest at 8 a.m. as well. Tee time is promptly at 9 a.m. The deadline to sign-up is Friday, March 7. Canyon Lake Lions Club Bingo Bash

Practice your "Bingo!" shout for the Canyon Lake Lions Club Bingo Bash on Sunday, March 23, at the Canyon Lake Lodge! Doors open for this fundraising event at 11:30 a.m., with calling starting at 1 p.m. sharp. The bingo buy-in is only $20, with special games and pull-tabs available for purchase. Snack on a hot dog lunch for just $10. Everyone 18 and older is welcome. All proceeds from this fundraiser will be donated to Tunnels to Tower Foundation and Helping Hands Pantry.

 

 

Pool Opens March 10

Jump into spring early at the pool on Monday, March 10! Daily lap swim is from 7 a.m. to 10 a.m., and open swim is from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Keep an eye out for Aqua Fitness, our water-based fitness class, and other fun pool activities at www.clpoa.com/pool.

City of Canyon Lake 2025 Scholarship Essay Contest

Do you know a high school senior deserving of recognition? The City of Canyon Lake is offering a $1,500 scholarship to one qualified Canyon Lake high school senior. To apply, the student must submit a 500 – 700 word essay answering one of two topics (or write about both) and their resume (including any job and volunteer experience, extracurriculars, etc.) to [email protected] by Thursday, April 10, before 5 p.m. The winner will be recognized at the May 14 City Council Meeting. Architectural Control Committee Public Notice

When building a house or making any repairs, alterations, or additions to the exterior of your home or property, you must submit your plans to the Canyon Lake POA for the Architectural Control Committee (ACC) to review for approval at their weekly ACC Meeting. The property improvements posted on our ACC Notices page will be reviewed at the ACC Committee Meeting on Thursday, March 6, 2025.
