January Member of the Month

The Member of the Month for January is Brian Wood. Brian has been a resident of Canyon Lake for six years. His fervent belief that the dedication of volunteers is what makes Canyon Lake such a special community has led him to serve on the Appeals committee, for which he is now Chairman, and the Canyon Lake Arts Guild, where he is the Director of Programs and Director of Membership, bringing live music to the lake. He also provides assistance to the Family Matters Club with their events and is an active member of the Yacht Club and the Car Club. We are grateful for Brian's incredible dedication and service to our community!

Happy Camp Gas Dock Closure

The fuel pump at the gas dock at Happy Camp will be temporarily closed tomorrow, January 10, for annual testing on the equipment. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

Access Company Transition

On January 13, our new access management company, GoAccess, will be sending detailed instructions to guide members through accessing and using the new access management system. GoAccess will manage the entire transition process, ensuring that it is as seamless as possible for all residents. Please check your emails, including your spam and junk folders, for information about your GoAccess account.

This transition to GoAccess is due to several concerns with our current system, dwellingLIVE, including ongoing issues with guest access and inadequate customer support. GoAccess offers more reliable guest access solutions, superior customer support, and a cost-effective pricing structure.

Get ready to share your thoughts! In late January, the Canyon Lake POA will be conducting a community survey to gather valuable feedback from our homeowners. This survey will provide an opportunity for homeowners to express their views on various aspects of the Canyon Lake POA, from amenities and services to events and upcoming projects. The Board is committed to making informed decisions that reflect your needs and preferences, so your participation is crucial. The survey will be sent both by mail and email, so please watch for it in your inbox and mailbox and take a moment to contribute to shaping the future of our community.

SERVICE REMINDERS

Canyon Lake Camera Program

Join the more than 100 residents that have already taken a step towards creating a safer community by signing up for the Canyon Lake Camera Program. This initiative, a partnership between the Canyon Lake POA’s Security Advisory Committee, Riverside County Sheriff's Department, and City of Canyon Lake allows residents with surveillance systems to voluntarily add themselves to a list that the Riverside County Sheriff's Department and Canyon Lake POA may refer to if a criminal incident occurred nearby. By signing up for this program, when these criminal incidents occur, the Canyon Lake POA and/or law enforcement may contact you to help solve the crime by requesting to review the video footage your system may have captured.

This program is for Canyon Lake POA members, and members must log in to the website to sign up. Alternatively, email [email protected] to sign up. If emailing, please include your name, address, and tract-lot number.
