Happy Camp Gas Dock Notice

As a reminder, the fuel pump at the gas dock at Happy Camp will be temporarily closed tomorrow, January 3, for annual testing on the equipment. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

Board Meeting Notice

Join us at our next Regular Session Board Meeting on Tuesday, January 7, at 6 p.m. at the Lodge. Members may attend in person at the Lodge, join virtually through Zoom at vm.clpoa.net, or watch it live on our Facebook page @CanyonLakePOA. The Board Meeting agenda will be posted 5 days in advance of the meeting. Comments/questions may be emailed to the Board in advance at [email protected].

Bingo!

Grab your daubers and get ready to shout "Bingo!" on Sunday, January 5, at the Senior Center. The buy-in is $13 for a 10-pack of bingo sheets, and two special games are available for $1 each. There is a Hot Ball opportunity, and buy-in is only $1! Doors open at 12 p.m., and calling starts at 1 p.m. sharp, so get there before the doors close. Everyone 18 or older is welcome!

Every 1st and 3rd Sunday of the month, the Lions Club hosts a bingo fundraiser event at the Senior Center.

The last day to register for the Canyon Lake Little League Spring 2025 season is this Saturday, January 4! Register at www.clllca.com by midnight on Saturday to reserve your spot today.

Canyon Lake boys and girls ages 4 to 14 of all skill levels are encouraged to play.

Community Survey in Late January

Get ready to share your thoughts! In late January, the Canyon Lake POA will be conducting a community survey to gather valuable feedback from our homeowners. This survey will provide an opportunity for homeowners to express their views on various aspects of the Canyon Lake POA, from amenities and services to events and upcoming projects. The Board is committed to making informed decisions that reflect your needs and preferences, so your participation is crucial. The survey will be sent both by mail and email, so please watch for it in your inbox and mailbox and take a moment to contribute to shaping the future of our community.

Access Company Transition

In early January, we'll begin transitioning from dwellingLIVE to a new access management company, Go Access. The new company will manage the entire transition process, ensuring that it is as seamless as possible for all residents. Detailed instructions and support will be provided to guide you through accessing and using the new system. Stay tuned for further updates as we embark on this transition.

This transition to GoAccess is due to several concerns with our current system, dwellingLIVE, including ongoing issues with guest access and inadequate customer support. GoAccess offers more reliable guest access solutions, superior customer support, and a cost-effective pricing structure.

What is the Rules & Regulations Review Committee?

We are currently accepting applications for our Rules & Regulations Review Committee! The Rules & Regulations Review Committee provides advice and assistance to the Board of Directors in reviewing and revising rules and regulations of the Canyon Lake POA. This includes following the direction of the Board in reviewing and recommending amendments, additional, or removal of rules and regulations and associated fine amounts, as well as assisting the Board with research and analysis of significant issues that may have a potential impact on our rules and regulations.

Active Fitness

New year, new you! Improve your strength, mobility, mood, and circulation with Active Fitness, a low-impact, high-energy workout! Adults of all ages are welcome. This 45-minute class is every Tuesday and Thursday at 10 a.m. at the Lodge. Seven classes can be purchased for $40. Want to give a try before signing up? Try out your first class for free! Architectural Control Committee Public Notice

When building a house or making any repairs, alterations, or additions to the exterior of your home or property, you must submit your plans to the Canyon Lake POA for the Architectural Control Committee (ACC) to review for approval at their weekly ACC Meeting. The property improvements posted on our ACC Notices page will be reviewed at the ACC Committee Meeting on Thursday, January 9, 2025.
