Service Provider Access Reminder
 - New Year's Eve -

Please note, service provider access will be restricted on Tuesday, December 31, for New Year's Eve. Service providers include contractors, delivery drivers (doordash, grubhub, pizza, etc.), furniture deliveries, house cleaning services, HVAC services, landscapers/pool services, plumbing services, and rideshare apps (uber/lyft). Note that healthcare providers are permitted. Should members need a service provider to have access on any of these holidays, they can add them as a temporary guest for the day.

As a reminder, for any major holidays or events, we always recommend using our convenient e-pass option when calling in guests. It is the best and easiest way for your guests to access the community. ePasses allows Canyon Lake POA members to email guest passes to their guests so they can either print the pass ahead of time, or the gate guard can scan their pass on their smartphone.

Happy Camp Gas Dock Notice

As a reminder, please note that the fuel pump at the gas dock at Happy Camp will be temporarily closed Friday, January 3, for annual testing on the equipment. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

Community Survey in Late January

Get ready to share your thoughts! In late January, we will be conducting a community survey to gather valuable feedback from our homeowners. This survey will provide an opportunity for homeowners to express their views on various aspects of the Canyon Lake POA, from amenities and services to events and upcoming projects. The Board is committed to making informed decisions that reflect your needs and preferences, so your participation is crucial. The survey will be sent both by mail and email, so please watch for it in your inbox and mailbox and take a moment to contribute to shaping the future of our community.

Access Company Transition

In early January, we'll begin transitioning from dwellingLIVE to a new access management company, Go Access. The new company will manage the entire transition process, ensuring that it is as seamless as possible for all residents. Detailed instructions and support will be provided to guide you through accessing and using the new system. Stay tuned for further updates as we embark on this transition.

Committee Vacancies

Want to make a difference in the community? Consider joining a committee! We are currently accepting applications for our Architectural Control Committee, our Appeals Committee, and our Rules & Regulations Review Committee.

If you are interested, please complete our online Committee Application to be considered.

What is the Rules & Regulations Review Committee?

We are currently accepting applications for our Rules & Regulations Review Committee! The Rules & Regulations Review Committee provides advice and assistance to the Board of Directors in reviewing and revising rules and regulations of the Canyon Lake POA. This includes following the direction of the Board in reviewing and recommending amendments, additional, or removal of rules and regulations and associated fine amounts, as well as assisting the Board with research and analysis of significant issues that may have a potential impact on our rules and regulations.

SERVICE REMINDERS

RSO vs Community Patrol

Canyon Lake is a unique community that has both patrol services (provided by the Canyon Lake POA) and police services (provided by Riverside County Sheriff). In times of safety or security issues, it's crucial to know which authority to contact. The Riverside County Sheriff addresses a range of concerns, including burglary, fraud, lost property, theft, trespassing, vandalism, animal cruelty, and sexual abuse. Whereas the Canyon Lake POA's Community Patrol addresses concerns related to barking dogs, curfew, loitering/solicitation, noise complaints, and vandalism to Canyon Lake POA common areas. Additionally, Marine Patrol provides boat distress assistance, boat inspections, and lake speed enforcement.

Remember always to call or text 9-1-1 if there is a threat to life, imminent violence, or a crime in progress.
