Year 2 Pavement Improvement Project Nearing Completion

All parking and travel restrictions for streets in Phase 3 have been lifted. Phase 3 encompasses San Joaquin Drive West (south), Yosemite Place, Giant Fir Place, and San Joaquin Drive East (after Yosemite Place intersection).

Work crews will still be actively working on-site, but the closures for these roads have been lifted. We remind residents to follow posted signage and directions from road workers as we near the end of these phases, which is scheduled to be completed by Friday, June 14.

Work crews will continue to be on-site over the next few weeks cleaning up around the community. As always, we thank you for your understanding and patience during this period.

4th of July Service Provider Access

As 4th of July draws near, we want to share some important information about community access during this exciting season. First, if you are inviting guests into the community, please utilize our e-pass service, which emails your guests their pass. This will expedite their entry into the community and keep the lines moving expediently. Also, please note that service providers are not permitted into the community on 4th of July. Examples of service providers include contractors, delivery drivers (like DoorDash or pizza delivery), furniture deliveries, HVAC services, home cleaning services, landscapers/pool services, plumbing services, ride share apps (like Uber or Lyft). Please note, this does not apply to in-home health care services.

If you have a service provider needing access to the community, please add them as a temporary guest for the day.

Lodge Access & Parking

After 4 p.m. on July 4th, Canyon Club Drive (after the Lighthouse Drive intersection down to the Lodge) will be closed to vehicle/golf cart traffic, allowing only pedestrian traffic. The Lodge parking lot is expected to be full by 4 p.m. To minimize congestion, only one vehicle/golf cart may wait for a parking spot to open up.

All vehicles, including golf carts, parked at the Lodge must be parked in designated parking spots. Please be aware that parking violations will result in fines, which are doubled during holiday weekends.

Park & Beach Setup Hours

Please be advised that all parks and beaches in the community will be open from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. on July 4th. Access is granted on a first-come, first-served basis, as reservations are not available. Community Patrol will be actively enforcing park hours. Entry or leaving personal property before the specified opening time is not allowed. Any property left prior will be removed by the Canyon Lake POA and can be retrieved during normal business hours at Bluebird Hall through the following Monday, July 8. Any property not claimed before July 8 will be considered abandoned and disposed of. Please note, the Canyon Lake POA is not liable for the loss or damage of these items.

Boat Registration Reminders

Unregistered boats are not permitted on the lake. Marine Patrol will be verifying boats for current registration at all launch ramps throughout the July 4th weekend. Unregistered boats are subject to a $500 citation. Those who need to have a safety inspection completed on their boats to register them should call Marine Patrol at 951.246.3473 to schedule an appointment.

Tennis Area Shade Project

Both shade structures are assembled, and concrete has been poured. For your safety, we kindly ask that you avoid the construction site. While the courts remain accessible, please be aware that lights on courts 3, 4, 5, and 6 may be temporarily unavailable during certain phases of the project.

Upon completion of the project, two new shade structure pavilions will be unveiled. One pavilion will feature a built-in barbecue at one end, accompanied by six picnic tables beneath the shade canopy, creating an ideal setting for outdoor gatherings. The second pavilion will replace the existing aging structure, offering extended coverage and additional viewing bleachers for tennis matches. Additionally, the project includes the installation of a new ADA ramp, ensuring accessibility for all community members. With an anticipated completion date in early summer, these enhancements will provide improved amenities for residents.
